Paws of Chico Spay & Neuter Program
P.O. Box 93, Chico, CA. 95927
How much will I have to pay?
Paws of Chico Spay & Neuter Program assists in paying for the cost of spaying or neutering male and female dogs and cats. The actual amount of your co-pay will depend on your individual financial situation. This will be determined after your application is received and discussed with you by a Paws volunteer. The amount of your co-pay will be decided at that time.
How is the payment handled?
Once you are approved for the program, a voucher will be mailed to you. The voucher will state the amount of your co-pay, and the name of the veterinary clinic that will perform the spay or neuter. You are expected to call the veterinary clinic to schedule your own appointment. At the time of the surgery, you must pay your co-pay in cash. The veterinary clinic will bill Paws of Chico Spay & Neuter Program for the balance of the cost.
How long will this process take?
You will be contacted by a Paws volunteer within a week of mailing your application.
