Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers are the backbone of our organization. With great volunteers, we can accomplish great things! We are a diverse group of people with different backgrounds. We share a common love of animals and a commitment to reducing our local pet overpopulation. Would you like to help with an important cause, and have fun too? We need volunteers for the following:
• Access requests from the Paws phone message machine. This can be done from your home phone or cellphone.
• Transport pets (via personal vehicle) to participating veterinary clinics during the weekdays.
• Participate in community outreach on weekends at special events.
• Work with applicants on the phone for screening and follow-up (requires home computer, preferably PC, with internet connection).
• Public relations & promotions.
It is very helpful if our volunteers have e-mail.
